meditation on water

water meditation

The highest goodness resembles water
Water greatly benefits myriad things without contention
It stays in places that people dislike
Therefore it is similar to the Tao

Dwelling with the right location
Feeling with great depth
Giving with great kindness
Speaking with great integrity
Governing with great administration
Handling with great capability
Moving with great timing

Because it does not contend
It is therefore beyond reproach

Wherever you see "jaklumen", that's me. The username is still unique as of 2016, so it's just me, and only me. It's the real me, because I'm bad at faking otherwise.

  1. We went to a water play park today. And so yes. Feeling with greater depth.

  2. If only I possessed the wisdom to be as flexible as water in my younger days, the pain I could have saved myself. The unwillingness to bend, pride, the desire to be right…any number of things have kept me from being the water!
