This is not mine… found out about this after digging up a Huffington Post article on the subject, after seeing John Kovalic thoroughly skewer Frank’s little rant on Dork Tower:
Alan Moore is the British comic book artist behind Watchmen, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and V for Vendetta.

Alan Moore is also the creator of V for Vendetta, which inspired the Anonymous movement and OccupyWallSt. I love how so many protesters wear the Guy Fawkes mask like the hero V.
I find it odd that so many in the mainstream media keep complaining how the Occupy movement has no central message. How much message do you guys need to realize what’s going on?

Oh, excellent, thanks for pointing that out. I’m sure I somehow read about that but just didn’t remember. I’ll go edit that in.

I forgot to add, maybe drawing Batman for so long has gone to Frank Miller’s head. He identifies with Bruce Wayne (or Bruce Wayne Inc. as the new series calls him) and the 1%.

The most common “argument” I hear is not so much now “what’s the message,” which seemed to be the first thing said but now it’s all the deal about them being lazy hippies, etc. OR that they deserve being physically attacked because they’re breaking the law. What I’m hearing is shifting from “WOT?” to “Meh” to “They’re EVIL and must be locked up.” Scary progression.
