A year and a half ago I started writing a blog…..

~ I took the past weekend from publishing blog articles. Originally my plan was to take a break until Sunday in order to take time to reassess life but suddenly I found my sabbatical extending a few more days; the pace of publishing a 900 word article every morning for the past year and a half, coupled with traveling, my personal vocation, and time spent with my loved ones has taken a toll on both my physical body and my emotional health.

Since publishing my first blog article I’ve written 406,800 words. To add a little perspective to that number the Torah (or “Old Testament” for my Christian readers) contains 593,493 words and if I had kept up that frantic writing pace, by July of next year I would have written more words then is contained…
