A Hero’s Journey: More Atonment with the Father

My father is still struggling with the will to live.

I called him today to ask if he was hurting like I was with the weather today, and he was in tears towards the end of our conversation.

I am not sure what to say other than that.

Wherever you see "jaklumen", that's me. The username is still unique as of 2016, so it's just me, and only me. It's the real me, because I'm bad at faking otherwise.

  2. Yeah… sometimes that’s what makes it hard, though. My mother is a problem solver, and so of course she is trying to solve this problem for him (so he was telling me that day), but he just wants someone to share his troubles with, maybe lean on a little. He doesn’t share a whole lot with me because he feels I’m burdened as it is.
