Cue the ambulance… oh wait, it wasn’t like that.

Went to the new ER near my neighborhood earlier today; the Neuroscience center (another department within the hospital network) recommended it after I explained why I missed an appointment with them (due to pain).

Since Cimmy had her hands full, I asked my father to drive me there, which he agreed to.

They did some X-rays just to be sure nothing was damaged or broken from the time I fell in the tub, and prescribed another painkiller– something I’ve actually taken before.  Well, first they gave me Valium before the X-ray and then proscribed Vicodin.

Wherever you see "jaklumen", that's me. The username is still unique as of 2016, so it's just me, and only me. It's the real me, because I'm bad at faking otherwise.

  1. Proscribed or prescribed? Isn’t amazing how one letter changes the whole meaning of a sentence?

    • Prescribed. Proscribed means to prohibit something, or in other words, if the doctor proscribed me another painkiller, he would have forbidden me to take it.
