Fred, the Crane Game Dog

Happy Valentine’s Day, Flickr. I would that you think of the holiday as I do: it’s about the ones you love– not just who is your lover.

This is Fred. We got him some years back playing a crane machine game, I think when Princess was still a baby.

WordPress EDIT starts here:

Now I’m not much for crane/claw games, usually. They are designed to take more money than they give out prizes, and as such, they are technically classified as gambling devices. But the moment was right and I knew Cimmy and I would have enjoyed trying even if we didn’t get a prize. But we did.

It was just like that scene from George Harrison’s “I’ve Got My Mind Set On You”:

but it didn’t take a whole lot of spending money! Only a few dollars, I think.

Cimmy was happy to take him and hug him, but over the years, she wasn’t selfish. Recently Fred has helped Boy have a better night.

Wherever you see "jaklumen", that's me- the username is still unique as of the current year. Be aware that the facet you see, is only a small part of the me that is me.

  1. AWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! Love this!!!!! Fred’s super and so is his history.

It’s Robin — I’m taking a break from my main site. Too crowded with people I don’t know. So I’m posting for a while as the SingingTuna and visiting just a few people.
