This is just one of the many photos Cimmorene took that day. It is difficult to see, but the kites in the picture consist of the delta “Painted Kite” that is acting as a lifter, and two kites attached as line laundry: a Prism Kites Triad box kite, and an X-Kites star box kite.

I am posting this from my Flickr account. WordPress does not have a portal service like VOX had. Therefore, uploading multiple pictures is very annoying– either I must upload photos from my computer, or I must put in Flickr URLs for every single photo.

[EDIT from the WordPress side]  Here is another photo Cimmy took of that delta “Painted Kite” yesterday:

Wherever you see "jaklumen", that's me- the username is still unique as of the current year. Be aware that the facet you see, is only a small part of the me that is me.

  1. The picture thing here does seem lots more clunky. I can barely see that kite…..it so way up high.

  2. That painted kite is so pretty!

    • Thank you! It does make it a little more interesting to look at. The paint is a white primer with a glow-in-the-dark top coat, but it’s not glowing as well as I’d like.

  3. I love kites. Cimmorene caught it well, even though it was far away. Of course, if you tried to fly a kite here on the windy days, it’d probably end up in the ocean on the way to Antarctica. We’ve had one downstairs for a year – we’re just afraid to use it!
