Feeling just a little under the weather

Another scribbling I made yesterday while enjoying another 6" at Subway:

The leftover nerve pain does seem to be aggravated whenever the humidity in the air rises.  Rather frustrating when I want to enjoy playing in the wind.

Wherever you see "jaklumen", that's me- the username is still unique as of the current year. Be aware that the facet you see, is only a small part of the me that is me.

  1. Aren't you in a part of the country that has a LOT of rain and thus having a high humidity count?ugh. Back pain. I don't know how well I'd deal with it. I was hurt on the job once and had to take a week or more off to let it heal and then I had therapy to restrengthen the back muscles. There are days that I think of that therapy and wish I could use it again.

  2. Aren't you in a part of the country that has a LOT of rain and thus having a high humidity count? You're thinking west of the Cascades, back towards Seattle and Portland. We are in a rain shadow of those mountains, so the I-5 corridor gets most of it, and by the time the moisture travels this far eastward, there is so much less that there is much less precipitation. Think of us more like lowland Idaho– a similar clime, but not quite so high up. The Channeled Scablands is part of our region, and that which was washed up with the ancient draining of Lake Missoula makes our land fertile, when it is bolstered by irrigation.I need to do a lot more walking. The kite flying helps, and going to the gym does too, but it is probably not quite enough. Walking, bike riding– lots of repetitive, aerobic activity is what the docs want. Perhaps that would still be of use to you.
